Allowing the joy and bliss of life to just exist
As I prepared for this article today, I was hit with the realization that life throws us all kinds of inconveniences, and the truths always feel better after you embrace them. I have been working on a poetry book for the last year and wanted to share with you a poem to enjoy!
But before I do, I would like to invite you to take a moment to learn into your heart space and breathe. We are inching closer to a new season, as the hustle and bustle of life resumes after a long summer. If you have kids, be sure to check out our free article dropping tomorrow.
Ok, let’s take a moment to pause,
Feel the breath rise in your chest, feel your heart beat, and when you're ready, close your eyes..
To continue, consider subscribing; otherwise, I will catch you tomorrow!
Theres a calling from your soul to connect deeper with things that bring you home not only to yourself but to things that bring you joy and bliss a whole month focused on this notion we can create the life we desire by not just surrendering and letting it burn but by living intentionally with truth, value, and most importantly, respect.
What a beautiful month in our sister’s membership with Alan Watts as our mentor! We learned so much about allowing and not letting the world and things outside of our control trip us up! How is it possible to keep going after all the trauma, pain, and heartbreak? Well, you are not just your emotions, thoughts, and the identity you created to protect yourself!
REPEAT AFTER ME:
Its ok to say no to things that threaten my nervous system.
Ok, let’s get into this poem!
Who Am I?
I am more than the names I’ve been called,
more than the roles I play
mother, teacher, healer, dreamer.
I am the silence between breaths,
the pulse of creation in stillness,
the ache and the awe that shape my becoming.
I am the stories I’ve shed and the truths I’m learning to carry.
The softness I once feared now blooms like wildflowers in my chest.
I am the fire that refused to go out.
The voice that trembled but still spoke.
The hands that heal, create, and reach for the sacred.
I am soul first.
Stardust wrapped in skin.
A spirit remembering its way home.
Who am I?
I am becoming.
And I am already enough.
Thank you for holding space and being here!
“I am Whole in this moment!”
Love Elise
